\nS\u00e4g Till! \u2013 Speak out!<\/strong> lifts our times big questions:
\nWhat is democracy? How is money created? How do you know something is true? Is there reasons to be afraid? Why does inequality increase in the world? How do you mitigate hatred? Where are the hopes for the future?<\/p>\n

Speak out!<\/strong> wants to lift some of the phenomena that have dominated recent years politics around the world, and made many wonder how safe our democracy really is. The project is a collaboration where Saga Bj\u00f6rklund J\u00f6nsson is brand new in the ensemble. With background as a artist in the Musicals, she is active in Bataljonen, The Mainstream, and works as a composer and director in various contexts.<\/p>\n

Speak out!<\/strong> will be played for adults and school pupils from high school and up. After the performance, there will be audience talki.<\/p>\n

Saga Bj\u00f6rklund J\u00f6nsson<\/b> is a new employee at NewOpera CO and is leading the work on S\u00e4g till! together with Niklas Ryd\u00e9n. She is a singer, composer, director and one of the driving forces in Teater Bataljonen<\/i>, which recently staged Jurassic Park<\/i> at Storan. Saga is also part of the group The Mainstream<\/i> and has worked with vulnerable groups in the project R\u00f6st<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Alexandra Nilsson<\/b> is also new to NewOpera CO. She has her background in folk music, where she explores the role of the cello in the Swedish violin tradition. She is also active in Butlers of Glen Avenue<\/i> and the Danish folk music septet Trolska Polska<\/i>.<\/p>\n

Karin Wiberg<\/b> has been involved in all NewOpera CO’s productions since 2011. She is a freelance violinist, including in chamber music with a focus on music by female composers. Karin is also a composer and improviser, often in stage contexts. She is active in the groups Stens\u00f6ta<\/i>, Kristall<\/i>, hahmo<\/i>, Vr\u00e5k<\/i> and Trio Phantasm<\/i>.<\/p>\n

Speak out!<\/strong> did premiere 20 November at 19 at Teater Cinnober. Length 60-90 min. Also played 21 and 22 November. Spring 2018 it was played at Atalante.<\/p>\n
